Our History and Mission




The Lyme Community Foundation (LCF) is a 501(c)(3) organization whose mission is "to enhance and support the community through cooperation, learning and enrichment." Founded in 1998, LCF uses the Alexander Copley House and its grounds as a Community Center to serve the residents and visitors of the town of Lyme. The building accommodates meetings, art programs and events.

Each year the LCF presents Summer Movies, the Copley Haunted House each Halloween, the Holiday House Tour at Christmas, guitar lessons, arts and craft classes and other programs.
